Flourish Itulua-Abumere, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, MCIPD, BIDA®, Prosci®

Flourish Abumere is the Executive Director of the International Fusion Centre for Business and Education (IFCBE), where she provides strategic leadership in advancing the organization’s work in corporate services, including people strategy and systems, education, business, research and professional development. She is committed to creating opportunities that connect people, institutions and ideas while supporting leadership development, innovation and sustainable organizational growth.

In addition to her role with IFCBE, Flourish serves as Director of Human Resources and Policy for Glooscap First Nation and Glooscap Ventures in Nova Scotia, Canada. She leads human resources strategy, policy development, organizational transformation, workforce planning, employee relations and leadership advisory services across a diverse group of community, government and commercial operations. Her previous professional experience includes work in public service, healthcare, education, consulting and private enterprise.

Flourish holds the CPHR, SHRM-SCP, MCIPD, BIDA® and Prosci® professional designations. She has graduate-level education in Sociology, Computer Science, Religion, and Law as well as advanced studies in business administration. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to bring together people, policy, technology, research, and business strategy to address complex organizational and societal challenges.

Flourish is also a researcher, author and entrepreneur. Her academic interests include gender, masculinities, artificial intelligence, workplace culture, institutional governance and social change. She is the founder of Flourixh Advisory and Supply Co. and a co-founder of Valornova Ltd, a United Kingdom-based telecommunications company. Through her professional, academic and entrepreneurial work, Flourish continues to promote inclusive leadership, international collaboration and the use of education as a tool for meaningful and lasting impact.
