NEHA's Call for Abstracts for the 2026 Annual Educational Conference (AEC) is open and we’re inviting you to take the national stage in Kansas City, Mo!


NEHA is seeking dynamic presentations from environmental health professionals, researchers, and thought leaders who are ready to share their knowledge with a national audience.

This is your opportunity to highlight the work that’s moving our field forward. From breakthrough research to practical tools and training, we’re looking for sessions that equip EH professionals to make meaningful, on-the-ground impact.

Submit your abstract and help shape the conversations that matter most in local communities.

Important Details:

  • Conference Location: Kansas City, Missouri

  • Conference Dates: August 3–6, 2026

  • Submission Deadline: September 30, 2025

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and able to present in person at the conference.

  • Indoor air quality

  • Risk communication and emergency preparedness

  • Policy, regulation, and advocacy

  • Pool inspections and tips

  • Pest control and housing inspections

  • Health equity

  • Climate change and its public health implications
